Journeying in Faith, Living in Hope, Serving with Love.
The Goole and Selby Tube Map.

Like stations on a tube map, each church in the Goole and Selby Circuit has its own character, community, and story. Some are busy crossroads, some are quieter stopping places, but all are connected as part of a shared journey of faith.
As a circuit, we are exploring new ways of leading, worshipping, and organising our churches together. Inspired by the themes of a lifelong journey found in A Methodist Way of Life, the tube map image reflects both our individuality and our connection to one another.
The red "circle line" surrounding the map represents the way the Holy Spirit gathers and holds us together. Red is the traditional colour of Pentecost: a reminder that God’s Spirit is present among diverse people, drawing us into one body in Christ. Though each church is distinct, none of us journeys alone.
The map also reaches beyond the edge of the circuit. Lines continue outward to symbolise our connection with the wider Methodist Connexion across Scotland, Wales, England, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, and Shetland. Like different parts of a living body, we depend on one another, share in one another’s joys and challenges, and discover together what it means to follow Christ in today’s world.
Wherever you may be on your own journey of faith - full of confidence, searching with questions, returning after time away, or simply curious - there is space for you here. All are Welcome to travel alongside us as we seek to live out faith, hope, and love together.
